Widecircles is a business model will last for a long time because it is a model that can be operated by people with the lowest possible level of skill. Yes, i said lowest possible level of skill. Based on my limited years of experience, i have realized that most of my small businesses (past and present) that depends on highly skilled people are impossible to replicate. Such people are at a premium in the market place. They're also expensive, thus raising the price you will have to charge for your product or service.
By lowest possible level of skill I mean the lowest possible level necessary to fulfill the functions for which each is intended. Obviously, we need to recruit and hire quality publishers but we don't need to hire brilliant ones. Widecircles is trying to create the very best system through which good bloggers, wiki posters, forum posters other types of publishers can be leveraged to produce exquisite results.
I think that as a group operator, the question that we need to ask ourselves is "How can we give the advertisers the results that they want systematically rather than personally?" put another way "How can we create an online business whose results are systems-dependent rather than expert dependent?". How can we create an expert system rather than hire one?
That is not to say that people are unimportant. On the contrary, people bring systems to life. People make it possible for things that are designed to work to produce the intended results which for our case a lot of quality posts. And, in the process, people who are systems oriented---as all our people must be--- learn how to more effectively make things work for our clients and for our business by learning how to improve the systems.
Its been said, and i believe it to be true, that great businesses are not built by extraordinary people but by ordinary people doing extraordinary things. But for ordinary people or should i say ordinary publishers to do extraordinary things, development of the Widecircles Systems is absolutely essential in order to compensate for the disparity between the skills of what my people have and the skills our business needs if it is to produce consistent results.
WIDECIRCLES is trying to make this happen for us... my team and I is on the right place.
We will make it happen.
